Reprint of The Barclay James Harvest Story

8th October, 2021

The Barclay James Harvest Story print on demand paperback

In response to numerous enquiries about making our biography of the band available again, we are happy to say that The Barclay James Harvest Story can now be purchased as a print on demand paperback edition.

This is a straightforward reprint of the second edition of the book, originally published in 2013. It’s the definitive biography of Barclay James Harvest, covering the story from the very beginnings to the release of “North”. The print on demand version has the same page size and identical content to the hardback, weighing in at 476 pages, but comes with a soft cover, and costs half of the original price!

Since it is a print on demand book, it will not be available directly from our web shop, but can be ordered from the links below, or should be available from any Amazon web site worldwide. Please choose your own country’s site for the fastest delivery and best price!

Delays and Charges on Deliveries to EU Countries

8th October, 2021

It has become apparent that our customers in EU countries are now being charged VAT and administrative charges on all parcels sent from the U.K. This is a result of Britain leaving the EU single market and customs union, and unfortunately there is nothing that we can do about it. We are too small an operation to set up a shop in the EU, or to register for VAT and sell CDs etc. free of VAT to overseas customers - the end result is that we have to pay VAT when we buy CDs in, and our customers outside the U.K. are being charged VAT by their own country on top of our prices.

Parcels to EU countries are also being subjected to considerable delays (two to three weeks is common) while they are checked by EU Customs authorities, so please be aware that if you order anything from the U.K., it will now take a lot longer to arrive, and you will probably be charged extra when you do receive your order.

Regrettably, if these delays and charges are unacceptable to you, we can only suggest that, where possible, you order items directly from an alternative outlet in your own country.
