JLBJH At A New Day Festival

Gambsheim Concert Sold Out
17th November, 2016
The JLBJH concert at Gambsheim on 22nd November is now completely sold out, and there are very few tickets left for the shows in Zürich and Weimar. Disappointed fans who wanted to see the band in Gambsheim may want to consider travelling to Baden Baden, less than 50km away, where the band are playing the next night.

JLBJH At Butlins!
13th October, 2016
We're pleased to announce that John Lees' Barclay James Harvest will be playing live at the Electric Dreams weekender at Butlins in Bognor Regis on Friday, 2nd December. The festival includes a Prog Stage and an 80s stage, and amongst the other acts lined up for the weekend are The Zombies, Strawbs, Curved Air, Heaven 17, OMD and Holly Johnson. XII and Octoberon Deluxe Editions
13th October, 2016
The previously announced Esoteric Recordings 3-disc deluxe edition of XII has been delayed slightly, and should now be released on 25th November. The set will now include a couple of extra tracks, not listed in our original bulletin, in the form of alternative versions. Next in the series will be Octoberon, which will include previously unreleased video footage, and is pencilled in for release in December.
Web Site Outages

All of our web sites are being migrated to new servers in the coming weeks, and will be offline for a few hours during the transition. The Woolly Wolstenholme and Maestoso page has just been migrated, whilst the Barclay James Harvest and John Lees' Barclay James Harvest sites will follow shortly. Hopefully the outages will be quite brief!
XII Deluxe Edition

Barclay James Harvest's 1978 studio album, XII, their last to feature the original four-piece line-up with Woolly Wolstenholme, gets the deluxe reissue treatment on October 28th (update: now scheduled for 4th November), when Esoteric Recordings issue a brand new three-disc edition with new 5.1 surround sound remixes from the original multi-track tapes, new stereo mixes, new remasters of the original stereo mix and bonus tracks.

Final 2016 Concerts Confirmed

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are pleased to confirm one more UK concert for 2016, at the Canterbury Westgate Hall on Thursday, November 3rd tickets (follow Westgate Hall link).
We also now have venue information and ticket links for the show on 4th November, which will take place in Leffrinckoucke, near Dunkerque, at the Salle De La Poudrière tickets

BBC Radio Interview Tomorrow
22nd June, 2016
John and Craig will be special guests on the Claire Cavanagh show on BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Somerset tomorrow, Thursday, 23rd June, between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. They will be interviewed and will also play an acoustic number in the final thirty minutes of the show. For those who are unable to listen live, it will also be available on the BBC iPlayer for thirty days after the broadcast.

JLBJH at Glastonbury!

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are proud to announce at last that they will be appearing live headlining the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Friday 24th June. This is a first for any version of BJH, and they will be playing a generous 90 minute fully electric set.

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest will be appearing live at the Circus Krone in Munich on 27th April, 2017. Tickets are on sale now from Adticket.

JLBJH at Giants Of Rock
22nd May, 2016
John Lees' Barclay James Harvest will be appearing on Saturday, 28th January 2017, at the Giants Of Rock festival, which takes place at Butlins in Minehead. Amongst the other acts already confirmed for the four-day event are Ian Anderson playing the music of Jethro Tull, and Eric Bell, ex Thin Lizzy. Two Festivals For JLBJH

We're pleased to announce two more shows for JLBJH: they will be playing an open-air concert in Berlin at the Biesdorfer Parkbühne (a beautiful amphitheatre) on 26th August, 2016, and tickets are on sale now from https://www.adticket.de/Barclay-James-Harvest-Shop.html?format=raw&searchlocation=berlin.
In addition, the band will be appearing at the HRH Prog festival, which takes place in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales between 16th / 19th March 2017. Amongst the many other acts already booked are Hawkwind, Wishbone Ash, Curved Air, Strawbs, The Pretty Things, David Cross Band, Davy O' List and Panic Room. New Remasters

Esoteric Recordings will be issuing a series of classic BJH albums as three disc deluxe editions, comprising new 5.1 surround sound remixes from the original multi-track tapes, new stereo mixes including additional, previously unheard material, new high-resolution remasters of the original stereo mix and bonus tracks. The first release in the series is Everyone Is Everybody Else, due out on 10th June, and that will be followed by Gone To Earth, Octoberon and XII in July and August.

Due to an unforeseen commitment, the date of the John Lees' Barclay James Harvest concert at The Cheese And Grain in Frome has had to be put back a day, to Saturday, 25th June. Tickets for the original date will still be valid, but if you have bought tickets and cannot attend on the Saturday, please contact your point of sale for a refund.

Esoteric Recordings have announced that they will be issuing expanded, remastered 2CD digipack editions of two more of Barclay James Harvest's 1990s albums, Welcome To The Show and Caught In The Light. Of particular interest to fans will be the fact that each album comes with a bonus disc containing half of the band's 1992 live performance at London's Town And Country Club, the majority of which has never been available on CD before.
